It’s been a busy weekend thus far. We knocked out all the bass tracks in two days and also got a start on guitars. Here’s what’s gone down:

Friday was my birthday!!! I’m a quarter of a century old, I’ve turned the corner, it’s a bit of a bummer, but doing so while working on a project like this, it makes me feel great about where things are headed. We had a great time Friday night, enjoyed time with old friends and made several new ones as well. We finished tracking around 9-ish and headed upstairs for the Pot Luck party going on in the mod portion of the Marigolds + Monsters layer. We played Catch Phrase, ate some amazing food, had one or two or four or five strong drinks, puff-puff-puff-puff passed the hookah around for a couple hours and called it a night around morning I do believe! The Bridges came over from ‘Bama with a BIG 25 Carrot Cake in tow and it was incredibly delicious, but their rotel cream cheese dip was where it’s at as well!!!
