Oh it feels so good to get some guitars going on! Maybe I’m partial since I play guitar, but really, the rhythm sections are so tight, I’m so proud of us so far, Jay killed it, and now as the guitars be to layer on top, it really begins to come together so nicely. Knox and I have gotten some killer tones thus far. We’re using Matt’s Tele (with a humbucker) and David’s Guild Starfire. We’re plugging into a vintage Fender Bassman head and Vox AC30 both through a Marshall 4x12 cab, that last part may strike some as odd, but it makes me thrilled as the chunk and grit and darkness that come from that cab matched with those heads is simply just sick. And thanks to Electro-Harmonix, we’ve got some slayer delay (Memory Man) and reverb (Holy Grail) going on as well. “Maker’s Mark Monday” is upon us and more guitar will be layed down, tune in on Stickam and tell us hello!
