Merry Christmas from the Death On Two Wheels! The past two years we’ve managed to slip into the studio, do some tracking, and offer you original renditions of Christmas classics. Unfortunately (and fortunately), we weren’t able to do so this year as we’re fully focused on completing our new album that will be released in 2012. However, we have put together a (FREE!) three song EP for you featuring a live acoustic rendition of “A Song For Em…” as well as our past two Christmas recordings. The EP is yours to keep, our gift to you, download it, stream it, share it with your friends and family, ‘tis the season!

This version of “A Song For Em…” was recorded just outside of Chicago in the quaint dwellings of Downers Grove, IL. It was tracked live to two-inch tape by our good pal Young Hines. He is a talented fellow who we encourage you to follow. He also has a new record coming out next year, you can read all about it here.

We wish all of ya’ll a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. We’ll be posting our year end lists soon and there’s a slew of good times coming up next year that we can’t wait to share. Thank you for your continued support. Much love…

J. Betts car was broken into last night. His bass was stolen. It is a left-handed Ernie Ball Musicman StingRay 5 with a natural finish and black pick guard (as seen above). Again, it is left-handed and has 5 strings, making it very unique. Typically, stolen instruments find their way into Pawn Shops or onto Craigslist.
