This town has two officers and a mayor's court. The cops don't even wear full uniforms. They'll wear jeans, boots, and sometimes a uniform shirt. Other cops aren't going to tell them what to do. When I had a problem I went straight to the state attorney general, who takes a very dim view of these joke police forces. They literally don't protect and serve, their sole purpose is revenue to pay their own salary through writing tickets. This is highly illegal and the AG will disband them for it. On a side note if anyone reading this ever gets a ticket where you go to a mayor's court, go and demand it be transferred to the nearest municipal court which is your right. It's pretty much guaranteed to be thrown out because 1. That judge knows how these places operate. 2.
